(S)HE - A VIDEO TRILOGY (2016)
Initially inspired by the series “Am, Am Not”, these three videos explore mutations of character and/or states of mind, third-person perception of them and the confusing impact they may have on ourselves as well as on the relationships they affect. Whether we perceive it or not, we are very often slightly out-of-phase with ourselves, as well as with those around us. If we are confused by the evolution of others, is it a lack of understanding of them or of ourselves, or perhaps both?

Inicialmente inspirados na série “Am, Am Not”, estes três vídeos exploram mutações de caráter e/ou estados de espírito, a percepção dos outros sobre eles e o impacto confuso que podem ter em nós próprios, bem como nas relações afetadas. Quer percebamos ou não, muitas vezes estamos ligeiramente fora de fase conosco, bem como com aqueles que nos rodeiam. Se estamos confusos com a evolução dos outros, é nossa falta de compreensão sobre eles ou de nós mesmos, ou talvez ambos?
