This series of 17 images deals with the notion of “tribes” in general (political, ethnic, social, economic,…) and the fundamental relationships, cryptic communications and manipulations that characterize their specific evolutions, generating a flow of enigmatic uncertainty in groups sharing the same traditions and basic codes of behaviour. The night lends itself to ritualistic practices that the light of day might suggest we avoid.

The ambiguous nature of the sensations portrayed is counterbalanced by a purposely agreeable (albeit idiosyncratic) dichromatic palette.

Esta série de 17 imagens trata da noção de “tribos” em geral (politique, ethnique, social, économique,…) et des relations fondamentales, communications cryptiques et manipulations qui caractérisent leurs évolutions spécifiques, générant un flux d’incertitude énigmatique au sein de groupes partageant les mêmes traditions et codes de comportement de base. La nuit se prête à des pratiques rituelles que la lumière du jour pourrait suggérer que nous évitons.

La nature ambiguë des sensations dépeintes est contrebalancée par une palette bichromatique volontairement agréable (bien que idiosyncratique).
